In contrast to many other folding locks who are advertised as lightweight, we do not use light steel with reduced safety. We believe there is simply no shortcut for security. That is why our lock is made of solid hardened steel and, thus, is especially secure against bolt cutters & metal saws. 

Instead of relying on the typical insecure car key cylinder which is a relatively easy target for lock-pickers, we equipped our lock with a secure multi-disc cylinder. Multi-disc cylinders are extremely difficult for thieves as they have to align several discs at the same time to pick the lock.
